Swedish Massage

A Swedish massage is great when looking for a way to relax, or if you want to experience your first treatment.

It’s all about using long strokes and  light-to-firm pressure that will leave you feeling rejuvenated.

If you are looking to reduce tension or suffering from anxiety then look no further.

Therapeutic Massage

Therapeutic Massage is with firm to deep pressure, focusing on superficial to semi-deep tissues. For those looking for everyday aches and pains, treat a specific injury, condition, with the goal of improving structural and functional health.

Deep Tissue

A Deep Tissue session is not just deep pressure, deep tissue works with deep layers of muscle and the surrounding tissue are targeted with the aim of lengthening and relaxing deep tissues.

This results in an intense treatment, as blood and nutrients are carried to your muscles, helping eliminate toxins.

Sports Massage

A sports massage is great for athletes or anyone with a physically demanding lifestyle.

Focus is on the impact of sporting activities on your joints, muscle groups, tendons, ligaments and soft tissue.

The ultimate aim of a sports massage is to improve athletic performance. However, don’t rule it out if you are not a sporty person.

It can improve sleep, increase flexibility and promote a greater sense of wellbeing.

Prenatal Massage

A pregnancy massage is a gentle treatment tailored to the aches and pains of expectant mothers, encouraging deep relaxation.

Research by the University of Miami School of Medicine found massage therapy to be powerful for many of the issues associated with pregnancy, including anxiety, lack of sleep, as well as, back and leg pain.

Chair Massage

The chair massages are mainly for events and group gatherings, but can also be used for clients who are unable to lay on the table on their stomach and/or side. Chair massage is limited mostly to the upper body, however the benefits are similar to full-body table versions and include stress reduction, enhanced circulation, increases physical flexibility, a more vibrant immune system, pain relief, deeper sleep, improved athletic performance, a brighter mood, and better chronic disease management.

Stretching

Our overall goal in stretching is to increase general flexibility and/or range of motion (ROM) at the affected joints.

Stretching and flexibility are concepts perceived to be deeply integrated with sports-related performance. Each type of sport has its own demands and every athlete has their own personal flexibility requirements as one of the components for optimal athletic performance.

Even though stretching is often viewed as the means to increase mobility, flexibility can be achieved in a variety of ways where muscle stretching is just one common method

Trigger Point

Trigger point is wherever there is muscle tissue that could develop a small area of tension that feels like a knot or marble under the skin. Usually when pressure is applied, you will feel the pain radiate.

When someone applies pressure you will either feel absolutely nothing or significant pain!

Trigger point therapy is mostly rubbing and pressing on these points to relieve tension and feel amazing.

Scar Tissue

Excess scar tissue can make muscles stiff and weak. In some cases this could require scar tissue removal surgery.

Help improve blood flow, which promotes healing and drains excess fluid to reduce swelling.

Helps regain feeling in the area and decrease numbness, tingling and soreness.

Increases range of movement and the scar’s flexibility. This makes movement feel less retricted and “tight”.

May help with the appearance of your scar.

Myofascial Release

Myofascial release therapy is all about easing pain in the thick connective tissues that support your muscles, know as myofascial tissue.

Do not expect this to be gentle as it is a very hands-on approach to pain management.

Having regular therapy can improve the body’s natural recovery process, alleviate stress, cut down any soreness and help with overall relaxation.

Cupping
Cupping is almost like a deep tissue massage with suction and decompression. It uses a cup to pull an area of skin into a suction that decompresses muscles and connective tissue. This promotes blood flow to the compromised area, enhances circulation and helps to increase the body’s own healing processes, almost like a backward deep tissue massage.

Paraffin Wax Dip

A paraffin treatment is a form of heat therapy where hands or feet are dipped into warm paraffin wax, creating a temporary coating that traps heat and moisturizes the skin. This process increases blood flow, relaxes muscles, and reduces stiffness in joints, making it beneficial for conditions like arthritis, fibromyalgia, and dry skin. After several minutes, the hardened wax is removed, leaving the skin soft and supple.
